The article highlights the importance of prioritizing sleep hygiene. And it's not enough to simply put your phone away 30 minutes before bed, ladies! We're hacking out health one sleep score point at a time.
Want a better night's rest with some new unsexy habits?
- Optimize your sleep environment: Create a cool, dark, and quiet bedroom.
- Develop a relaxing bedtime routine: Wind down with calming activities like reading or taking a warm bath before bed. Magnesium or bath salts certainly help!
- Limit screen time before sleep: The blue light emitted from electronic devices can interfere with sleep. But you already knew that, so stop doom-scrolling!
- Maintain a consistent sleep schedule: Go to bed and wake up around the same time each day, even on weekends, to regulate your body's natural sleep-wake cycle.
