About Dryft Sleep
Hi! We're so glad you're here!
We're Jess (left) and Lindsey (right) and we're the co-founders behind Dryft Sleep.
We launched Dryft Sleep in April 2022 with the goal of creating products that deliver deeper, more restful sleep for everyone.
How did it all begin? A blind date, of course!
Not a true blind date, mind you. In the early days of covid-19 in the Spring of 2020, Lindsey and Jess were both working away running separate marketing companies, supporting clients in the CPG (that's consumer packaged goods) and consumer technology space. As lockdowns forced them both indoors from their busy lives, they connected via a mutual friend on LinkedIn (hi, Ari!) and had a zoom coffee date (it was all the rage at the time!). The two female founders bonded over running their companies, navigating the early days of the pandemic and found so much joy in their connection.
Fast forward about six months of regular zoom coffee dates (and never meeting in person!) and Jess mentioned her passion for mouth taping. Jess had been an avid mouth taper since 2018 but never found a product on the market she was truly passionate about. Lindsey, a mom of two young children, was thrilled by the idea of adding a new tool to her sleeptime routine. She was game for any way to get a few more winks in every night!
After talking about the opportunity (and doing some research, of course!) the two decided to create Dryft Sleep. They didn't even meet in person until after they'd started the company! Just a few months after forming their partnership they found a local California manufacturing partner, developed a packaging design and honed their first product. Dryft Sleep was born!
Within months it was clear that their product had an eager audience. #mouthtape was trending on TikTok and they started getting press mentions; even major retailers started DM'ing them! It's been an exciting ride, to say the least!
Today, Dryft Sleep is a modern wellness brand dedicated to helping you get your best night's rest and wake up with more energy to do the things you love.
We offer our signature gentle mouth tape and now earplugs, sleep spray and so much more to help you achieve your best night's rest. More products are in the pipeline, too, and we can't wait to share them with you!
